The proposed restrictions address parking near the Mission Pass Trail entrance (gate area) where through access has a history of becoming impacted.<\/li>\n<li>Following review of the location and the identified concerns, the County of Marin has developed a parking restriction proposal with input from the Fire Department, Sheriff\u2019s Office, County Parks, and Traffic Operations.\n<ul>\n<li><em>Parking Restriction Proposal:<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>A parking restriction is proposed directly across from the Mission Pass Trail entrance to improve emergency vehicle access.<\/li>\n<li>A parking restriction is proposed along the blind curve located in the downhill direction approaching the Mission Pass Trail entrance. The area in the vicinity of the trail entrance gets congested with vehicles, as well as pedestrians and bicyclists entering and exiting the trail. The proposed parking restriction improves sightlines for all users approaching this area.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marincounty.org\/-\/media\/images\/departments\/pw\/transportation\/images\/fawn-drive.jpg?la=en\" class=\"broken_link\">View map of proposed restrictions<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>These parking restrictions are supported by the Marin County Public Works and will require the Marin County Board of Supervisors' approval to implement.
