The project team reached an important milestone on the Bellam Blvd Off Ramp Project – the completion of 52 drilled piles that will eventually support a new retaining wall. Completion of this key structural element allows work to begin on the retaining wall that will support the added travel lane on the off-ramp. In addition to retaining wall construction, the contractor will continue installing improvements at the intersection on Bellam Blvd between the off-ramp from 101 and the on-ramp to Eastbound 580. These improvements include new traffic signals, drainage and a new pedestrian cross walk. Thank you to all for their continued patience while this important project progresses.
