Marin Civic Center Chiller Plant Replacement

Description

Overview

Marin Civic Center has mechanical equipment that has reached its intended lifespan.  The County has undertaken a multi-phased program to repair, replace and upgrade the building’s mechanical systems.  This project, the Civic Center HVAC Chilled Water Plant replacement, will focus on the building’s most vulnerable system, its chilled water plant. Replacement of all chilled water plant system components is being undertaken to provide chilled water plant reliability for various other systems in the building that rely on it, including all chilled water, condenser water, and cooling towers. The work will also entail reconfiguration of Cooling Tower 1.
