The estimated $4.2 million project is funded by the County's Road & Bridge Fund. Up to $250,000 of the cost will be funded by CalRecycle.

Traffic impacts

Construction will take place during the daytime hours with traffic control measures. Five-minute delays for the duration of the project plus two short duration (typically 8 hours) residential road closures per street are expected; however, access will always be provided for emergency vehicles.  Every effort will be made to provide advanced notice and minimize inconvenience to residents.

Project information notices will be issued by the contractor once their schedule is established. Property owners/residents along the roads scheduled for paving are also given advance written notifications ahead of any work that requires their road to be closed so that residents have time to adequately prepare.  After paving the road, the public will notice an immediate improvement to the road’s aesthetics and rideability.
