Marin City Fire Station – Dormitory Reconfiguration
Description
Overview
The existing dormitory configuration at the Marin City Fire Station is inadequate for the current staffing requirements and needs of the facility. There is a need for standard sleeping quarters with individual bedrooms rather than the current “bunkhouse” style accommodations. This will both allow for a better sense of privacy and better accommodate the diverse staff of the station.
Funding
Project is estimated at $300,000, including design and construction. The funding is from the bi-yearly BOS-approved Capital Improvement Plan.
Public Impacts
