Description
Overview
The project involves addressing landslide that occurred during the 2022/2023 storm season on Meadow Way's edge. The landslide encroached on the pavement, with debris visible near San Geronimo Creek. The damage is 105 feet wide, extending 35 feet beyond an retaining wall. An anchored sheet pile wall will be constructed to prevent further failure and protect the roadway.
Funding
Estimated project cost is $450,000 and funded by FEMA.
Public impacts
One lane alternating traffic and potential closure at the slide area can be expected to accommodate the construction of the wall. The one lane alternating traffic will be controlled by a flagger on both ends.
