Roadway restrictions
Marin County Public Works oversees the roads in unincorporated areas of the county, except for state highways and private roads. Sometimes it is necessary to restrict access to a road, such as shutting down a lane or fully closing a road. This can be caused by an emergency, like flooding, a fallen tree or a red flag (wildfire) warning, or because of construction related to a project. Road closures and lane restrictions are for your own safety. Please follow any and all traffic control measures that are in place.
The following map shows locations, notated by red pin drops, on County-maintained roads that currently have some form of road restriction. Please click on a red pin drop to get details on the location.

Note: This table does not list the closures/restrictions related to projects. For project specifics, see our current project list.
